Automated Vehicles&nbsp;in the Age of Climate Change\u201d \u2013 One-day Workshop at CHI2020<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop aims to gather designers, researchers, and practitioners from the sustainable HCI, persuasive design, AutomotiveUI, and mobility communities to collaborate&nbsp;in finding ways to make future mobility more sustainable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Participate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate, authors were asked to prepare a position paper (max. 4 pages, excluding references, using the traditional <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"CHI&nbsp;extended abstract format (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/chi2020.acm.org\/authors\/chi-proceedings-format\/#EAF\" target=\"_blank\">CHI&nbsp;extended abstract format<\/a>) and should&nbsp;be submitted via <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"EasyChair (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=chi20-ws-automotive\" target=\"_blank\">EasyChair<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Position papers&nbsp;should&nbsp;cover one of the following or related topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sustainable&nbsp;interaction with (automated) vehicles<\/li><li>Best practices from other domains<\/li><li>The effect of automation on sustainability<\/li><li>Eco-driving<\/li><li>Theory and\/or research methods<\/li><li>Legal&nbsp;issues and\/or legislation<\/li><li>Effect of transportation on climate change<\/li><li>Cities, mobility, and climate change<\/li><li>Case studies<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Position papers were reviewed by the workshop organizers and evaluated based on their novelty, quality, and relevance to the workshop themes.
